Essential oils of sage, fennel, geranium, and a cold-pressed vegetable oils (eg, almonds) and within the body once or twice each day massaged into the skin stimulates the female hormones and helps with symptoms of menopause.
Lavender oil can help balance hormone levels, as well and is inexpensive.
If you are able to afford, neroli oil (orange blossom) and rose oil (very expensive) very effective in the treatment of mood swings. You can buy these 2 oils diluted in jojoba oil, which makes them slightly cheaper.
Each of these oils can be added to oils or a few drops in a bath massage.

Lemon and peppermint oil may help with hot flashes.
